How It Works

My Tutoring Process

A four-step approach designed to clarify goals, target weaknesses, and build consistent study habits.

1

Diagnostic

We start by looking at the student's current level, recent work, goals, and timeline. For SAT prep, this may include practice test results or question-type accuracy; for school support, it may include homework, quizzes, and class topics.

2

Custom plan

After identifying the biggest gaps, I build a plan that prioritizes the highest-impact skills first. The plan stays flexible, so sessions can adapt to upcoming tests, assignments, practice results, or changes in confidence.

3

Weekly sessions

Sessions focus on clear explanation, guided practice, and review of mistakes. Students learn the reasoning behind each step, then apply it through targeted problems, reading passages, writing questions, or school assignments.

4

Progress tracking

Progress is tracked through accuracy, timing, homework completion, practice test performance, and recurring mistakes. This makes it easier to see what is improving and what still needs focused repetition.
